tickle in my throat since last week
wanted to say something back to the memories
but i didn't.
just held my tongue, waiting for them to speak.
then this morning, looked
at a cd
in the classroom where i'm a sub
found his name in the liner notes
and...
nothing.
wrote to eric in an email,
i love you, i love you, i love you.
(i don't want to bore you with it...)

left the tickle in the liner notes
touched my tongue, let it loose.
gollum love, i let it die.

and look here...
where i found my vocal chords....u
